First time or newer to the LMA Annual Conference? We've got your covered. LMA offers a Mentor/Mentee Program to ensure you get the most out of this incredible conference. Mentors will help first-time or newer attendees navigate the conference experience within a structured, yet personal framework, for maximum inclusion, accessibility and value.
Specific goals of the program include:
- Help first-time and newer attendees leverage the conference's educational, sponsor and exhibit offerings that will benefit them most
- Introduce newcomers and colleagues to make networking easier and more comfortable
- Steward newcomer attendees through reflecting on their takeaways and creating a plan for actualizing their newfound knowledge
How to become a Mentee or Mentor
You'll have the opportunity to check a box during the conference registration process if you want to be a mentor or a mentee. Then LMA Headquarters matches the mentees to a mentor with similar criteria which includes the consideration of matching by region, firm size, demographic, first timers, etc.
Then LMA Headquarters will send emails to mentors with who their mentees are, along with best practices for mentorship at the conference.
LMA Headquarters will plan to send the emails to mentors the week of March 18.
